Yay. Just hit my 100th post!
Though not quite a big achievement after like 2 years of keeping this blog, but still…hahaha.
Let’s see what happened the past few days.
2 days ago:
Went for class outing with H.Huiqing, Heather, Baybeh, Sean and a few others to watch Sherlock Holmes.
Honestly, I had a hard time catching their speech cause they were speaking so quickly!
But I still managed to get a rough idea of the storyline lah.
So not too bad!
What matters is the company of my classmates!
And I agree with Weimei, Leap Year sounds quite promising (:
After the movie, while the rest stayed to lunch together, I had an appt with the doctor reg my bloatedness and lack of appetite.
So I couldn’t lunch with them ):
The visit to the doctor was ultra embarrassing.
Shan’t talk about the details k.
Perhaps it could be due to the fact that it was my first visit to that doctor?
He’s now my doctor in-charge leh.
Ok lah, come to think of it, he’s not that bad either considering the stacks of patients’ files on his table he had to clear.
So, he discovered a lump in my left abdomen which we’re not sure is what until scan reports are out.
Then went for blood-test (the needle ):!) followed by CT scan yesterday at some Camden medical centre in Orchard (made me dislike Orchard even more).
Dislike not because of the scan but the locating of our destination was terrible (partly because it was orchard LOL).
The medical staff there were great! ;D
Very friendly and patient. Hehe.
I wonder if it’s coincidence or what. But almost all of the staff that took care of me have children who are younger than me (around primary school) but because of my size, are almost like me.
They said looking at me reminds them of their kids.
Hahaha.
So now am waiting for some endoscopy procedure next month to have a more inside look into my abdomen.
Yup. Hope everything’s gonna be fine (:
After the scan yesterday, Mom, my cousin and I went to Sizzler’s for the salad bar buffet.
The name itself might lead you into thinking that it’ll definitely not make you full but it’s not!
All of us stuffed ourselves until our stomach could burst anytime.
Plus, they even had ice-cream.
How can anyone resist ice-cream?
The ice-cream was the ultimate.
I swear I won’t touch buffet for a long long long time.
This is the last day of 2009 and in just a couple more hours, we’ll be entering into a new year!
Exciting? Hahaa.

Going out with classmates to watch movie tomorrow!
Yay ^^
Doctor's appointment is also tomorrow.
I wonder what they're gonna do with me.
Can't believe God answered our prayers!
My turn was supposed to be in March but they managed to slot me in tomorrow so Mom doesn't have to specially take leave again to bring me there. Haha (:
Thanksgiving item for XS party yesterday is also finally over!
Totally embarrassed myself on stage.
And still can't get over it yet.
Yeah, it felt like a re-enactment from the XS camp scene. D:
But glad that Georgi liked it.
Hahaha.
Oh and also went for the Converse sale with Naomi after church yesterday!
They had great finds there!
LOL.
We each bought kappa shoes for just $10 each!
75% discount!
Worth it anot?!
Hahah.
Of course, that came with having to squeeze and ransack with the super huge crowd there.
We could have gotten better finds if we went earlier.
But oh well, at least we got some stuff for ourselves!
Haha.
Had XLB too. With 2 cousins! XD
Idk if it's my first time or what.
But it wasn't quite what I expected leh.
I think I prefer yam dumpling.
LOL.
K, just a random post to sum up my weekend.
BYE!

XS Party's GEE dance! ):
XS Christmas party is tomorrow! (ok, it's after 12 so it's today -.-)
And my cell is gonna do the gee dance for Georgi (my cell leader).
You know G for Georgi mah.
I'm terribly worried now!!
D:
In the afternoon, when Raewyn was teaching us (mass-teaching), I couldn't even catch up with the steps leh! ):
I can't even remember the steps! Not to mention dance!
Thanks, but please don't mention that I was a chinese dancer :X
A chinese dancer who can't dance is embarrassing~~
I'm like super duper worried now.
I'm afraid I'll embarrass myself on stage tomorrow.
I don't wanna develop stage-fright then my mind conks out.
I don't wanna embarrass my cell and drag them down with me. (esp not when they've put in so much effort to put up this performance!)
I don't wanna further spoil my image in front of XS!
I don't wanna be standing on stage like a fool while everyone else is dancing to the song.
Noooo. I don't want ):
I really don't want to implicate my cell members!
That was what happened when we had to put up a skit for the XS camp last year.
I can never forget that experience! And I don't ever want to experience that trauma tomorrow! D:
Tell me, what do I do?
I tried learning on youtube from various tutorials but nothing gets absorbed into my brain leh!
Sighsighsigh.
.
.
.
.
.
Ok, it's time to stop whining and take some real action.
Shall go learn the dance naooo.
Bye
Anyway, Merry Christmas everyone!
I still consider now as Friday :P
Hope your had fun celebrating with your friends& family!(cos I didn't D:)
P/S I still need to thank Raewyn for agreeing to help me with the vid ytd [:
Otherwise, I'll be dead.

Embarrassed to the max
Went to the polyclinic with my mom in the afternoon regarding my stomach bloatedness.
Quite pissed with the doctor.
Without any basis, he simply assumed I had an eating disorder (anorexia, to be exact).
Though he didn't say I was anorexic (he only "suspected" ED), but every sentence he spoke already told me he was thinking so.
WL eh.
To worsen things up, my mom couldn't shut her mouth on my eating behaviour to the doctor.
She kept repeating and repeating the same thing again and again.
Then in the end what happened? Instead of identifying with my bloatedness (which is one of the reasons for my ED), he said the bloatedness was PSYCHOLOGICAL because I was afraid to get fat!
Fyi, I'll always get bloated after every meal and it's REAL! My stomah will expand up to 3 times okay! Not because I psychoed myself into thinking so like what the stupid doctor said! idiot.
Okay, so that matter aside.
Later on, my mum coincidentally ran into an old friend who is now selling drinks in the hawker.
I don't even know him ok! They said he's seen me grow up ever since I was in my mom's womb but whatever..I still don't remember anything.
Then my mom began telling him (she was talking at the top of her voice)all about our visit to the doctor including my personal health issues blahblahblah.
It was damn shit lah.
And I was sitting there all along, I had to fight with myself to lift my head up and look at him.
?!?!??
Why can't she be more sensitive huh?
Forget it I don't wanna repeat all my crap like in the past anymore.
Even I'm sick of it.
My rants have ended.
And I realised I'm so good at ranting than posting about happy stuff.
LOL.
Bye.
P/S can the stupid window movie maker work please?

Clay charms !
Hello.
I'm currently into miniature clay charms-making.
Here's what I mean:
Hahaha.
Aren't they so cute?
Just like baking, it's also creating your cupcakes, cookies, cakes and whatnot
except you don't have any cleaning up to do! :DD
And I don't have to worry about whether my food will come out good anot.
Initially I only tried this kinda clay-making for decoration of the clothes pegs' sake but somehow, I got increasingly interested in it so I began making cupcakes, lollipops blahblah after that
I thought they turned out quite well haha.
Sounds like my clay-making skills are even more promising than my baking ones!
I shall take some photos of the satisfactory ones and upload them (:
Speaking of which, here are some of my Japan pics which I think will take forever to upload because of stupid blogger's image uploader thing:
hello kitty baos! cute huh!

Trying to burn the photos into a disc for the
second time.
Have no idea what went wrong the first time.
-
I've packed the foods I bought for my friends and cell ! ^^
*Satisfied*
Can't wait to pass it to them. Hope they won't mind the food.
No, they're nice people. I'm sure they won't. (:
Just now baybeh called.
It's been so long since we last met up (the last day of our paper).
1 month since I last saw her!
There was a F4/1 gathering just now with captain ball games but I didn't go.
Reason: too lazy + unpacking to do and fear of balls.
Heard from baybeh that quite a lot of people turned up. Haha.
Even JunXing!
So unexpected.
Baybeh asked me if I'd like to go for some carnival event on Sat.
Well, still contemplating whether to go not.
Should I?
P/S. second burning of the disc was successful. shall upload them next!
P/SS. on second thought, I'm too lazy to upload the pictures onto blogger. Lol. Sorry! ><

I miss Japan ):
Back from Japan!
And I'm already missing it ):
JAPAN IS AWESOME!
The people there, the food, the scenery, everything!
Japanese are really an awesome bunch of people I tell you.
(I wouldn't say the same for those in Tokyo but those in the outskirts like Osaka and Kyoto, you'll be truly touched by their warm-heartedness.)
Before I met them, I never knew in modern day society, there would still be people who would go the extra mile to personally guide you to your destination when you're lost.
Can you believe that when we asked passer-bys in Osaka and Kyoto for directions, almost all of them offered to personally guide us there despite how busy they were?
There was one guy whom I think was on his way to school when we approached him.
And without hesitation, he immediately told us to follow him while he showed us the way to our hotel.
The best part is, it's not 1 or 2 who were this kind, all of them were!
Wow, right!
I was super impressed lor.
And I swear that if next time, should someone approach me for directions, I'll definitely extend the same kindness to them.
If I was shown this kindness, why shouldn't I pass it on?
So, I was talking about the Tokyo people being the exception.
Well, I guess I wouldn't blame them huh?
Afterall, it's Tokyo-the busiest city in the entire world? O.O
People there are just too busy rushing here and there to stop and listen to you.
They weren't that hostile anyway, just that compared to their fellow Japs in other cities, they weren't as helpful.
When we asked them for help, most still listened and guided you.
Actually, it was rather funny because we know how outrageous some Japs (esp those in Tokyo) dress right?
And some of them had that kind of punky outlook which makes us feel as though they're ready to punch us anytime we approach them.
But still, we asked them for directions and what you get is rather surprising, their hostile front melts down and you realise they're just like any one of us lor.
Haha.
It was quite fun, I thought.
Next thing, the food there!
I never got enough of their mochi!
They even had those wrapped with real strawberry fruits! ♥
Yummy!
In fact, in Japan, mochi is called daifuku which translates to 大福 in chinese.
Haha, so cute right.
And they also have so many interesting stuff there.
I love visiting their convenience stores.
It's so different from those in Singapore!
You can practically find everything in there.
Even buns and cakes are sold in packaged forms!
And their breads are very chewy too, nicer than those fresh from the oven kinds.
I love their rice too!
It's nice just eating their plain rice alone cause the grains are so plump and chewy, not those tough, longish kind we eat in Singapore.
Oh, and Miza's so cute!
Miza's a little girl from Sg we met while we were there!
Teehee.
Free-and-easy's so fun!
You get to witness the way of life of the people there. {:
-
Wellwell...
I guess I'll just update up to here.
The rest, I'll probably be too lazy to type out.
So long it's still in my brain can already.
I just wanted to share about the kindness of the Japanese people.
Haha.

LOL =.=
Just had a freakin quarrel with my mom over packing issues -.-
I don't understand why she must bring along so much redundant stuff only to risk losing them in a foreign country?
It's damn ironic when she was the one who instructed us to TRAVEL LIGHT.
Travel light my foot.
We're on our own, hello?
-.-

Whee~
Flying off in 4 more hours! :D
We'll have 2 meals on-board, so cool right.
I know this will be weird but I love plane meals (:
To me, it just feels very high-class and all (though nothing compared to first class lah...but still).
I think you'll see me gain a few kilos when I'm back. o.o
Yep haha.
So, will be back on the 16th!
Oops, I've yet to inform my cell about it, feels as though I'm very irresponsible leh.
Don't you think so? ):
Ok yeah, till then!
-
P.S I've also got my itinerary done up last night. FINALLY! Am very proud of myself, heehee(:

(:
Am currently browsing through some recipes, out of curiosity.
The pictures are making me hungry ):
Well whatever, I'm always craving for food anyway.
-
It's 4 more days before the trip! :D
Can't wait!
But then...
our itinerary's still not up yet.
Err,
I just volunteered to plan one for the Tokyo part since Kenneth has already done the Osaka part.
Must have some auto button mah.
So,
I need to know how to start.
You know, have it all planned and typed out like a real itinerary on those travel brochures...
Yeah.
That's gonna take up a lot of time lor.
I hope I can finish by tomorrow/ Sunday.
And after the tour, I'll be jobless once more.
Long story, shan't talk about it.
But today, the supervisor asked me if I'd like to go back to work after that.
I replied no, saying it was tough work and all...
Then she said every kinda work is tough, what's important is the attitude.
That got me thinking: what am I gonna do next time? I barely pulled through merely 2 weeks of the job. ):
I think I'm gonna search the newspapers for more jobs after that lo.
Surely rotting at home for a month is too long right.
And, I make sure I won't look up jobsites. Idiot.
Until FooXin mentioned it, I think I probably got cheated the other time. >:(
Oh, I also went shopping yesterday and today alone.
Yes, I know how loser that sounds but I can't bear to call my friends out and use up their time while they pei me shop for my things. Get what I mean?
Though I've already got most of the items on my shopping list, I was so very self-conscious
the whole time while I was buying my stuff.
Like I was thinking what others would be having in their heads: what is this girl (who's probably in pri school) doing shopping alone? She got money meh? Does she know what she's doing? Etc etc.
[Plus, I got weird stares from the older adults while I was browsing around the shop okay.]
Overly self-conscious. Maybe?
Well, whatever the case, at least I managed to cross those barriers and still got what I wanted.
Why do I sound as if I'm on some life-and-death mission?
Lol.
K bye, off to skipping (to skip off my food cravings)!

Worried ):
About 2 things:
first, the Japan trip and second, the Supervisor's response to Weimei's resignation.
So, the Japan holiday...
Since we're gonna be on our own, we need to be resourceful enough help us get around the country better right.
And the problem is, it's only a week until our departure but we have yet to finalise things! O:
(Oh, I just realised A'levels just got over)
Mom's even planning to visit Disneyland on a Sunday, Lol.
I've got a feeling we're gonna bump into a lot of troubles planning the itinerary.
Oh well, let's just see how things go.
Ok, then today Weimei told the supervisor that she wants to resign after her trip but the response that she got was,
they might dock her pay for failing to inform them before taking up the job (I kena-ed too but cause I worked for a shorter period than her, mine was less severe)
Then I was thinking, our pay is already pathetic enough and we have to work till our legs break and they still wanna cut our pay?
That could have been only a threat but still...
I don't know lah, let's just see what the lao-ban says tomorrow.
Meanwhile, don't worry too much about it, Weimei (:
And today, we had to do stock-taking and for some reason, I just couldn't stop dropping the vegetables.
I dropped one box of vegetables onto the floor twice and the second time, I made one shopper jump.
I found her behaviour damn typical Singaporean lor.
Ugh.
Never mind, shall not talk about it here.
k, bye {:

Ugh.
Never mind, shall not talk about it here.
k, bye {:
